Inspector Murphy said: “Whilst we have been contacted by a number of people who were in the area at the time of the incident, we believe that there are many more people that were there that evening and I am appealing for them to get in touch with police. Officers are striving to carry out a full and detailed investigation into Valerie’s death and with the local community’s help we hope to achieve this.”
