PSNI given further time to question Ballycastle murder suspects
Police have been given extra time to interview the two men arrested in connection with the murder of 48-year-old Anthony McErlain in Ballycastle.
Detective Inspector Clara Heaton said detectives from Serious Crime Branch investigating the murder of Anthony McErlain “have been given additional time by a court to question two men aged 33 and 50 who were arrested on 29 January”.
She added: “Police have been granted a further 24 hours to continue interview.”

Hide AdMr McErlain was discovered in a house in Broomberg View in the north Antrim town around 8.30pm on Thursday.
The senior investigating officer said Mr McErlain “suffered a traumatic and frightening death”.
