PSNI officer '˜saves life of person in distress' in Lisburn

Police in Lisburn this morning responded to a report of an individual in distress close to the Island Civic Centre, a Facebook post has revealed.

“As a result one Officer entered the Lagan River undoubtedly saving this persons life,” added the post.

“Police would like to thank all who assisted including Civic Centre Staff, NIFRS & NIAS.
