Quick-thinking fire service staff rescue driver after car is submerged in flood waters
The Fire Service tweeted about the incident which occurred in County Tyrone on Sunday night.
The post said: “Firefighters from Castlederg Fire Station were called to a water rescue incident last night.

Hide Ad“An individual was trapped inside their car in flood waters.
“The casualty was expertly instructed how to get out of the submerged vehicle by a member of our Regional Control Centre.
“The casualty had got themselves to safety when firefighters arrived.”
It added that the casualty was then taken into the care of ambulance staff and the car handed into the care of the PSNI.
