On Tuesday, the PSNI said that a post-mortem had revealed that the death was not in fact suspicious.

A 53-year-old man who had been arrested by police probing the death was released on Tuesday.

Police would not say what Mr Gordon died of, or why they had believed a crime might have been committed.

A service of thanksgiving will be held for him on Friday at 10.30am at Roselawn Crematorium, Belfast, open to all. He is to be cremated.
