Snow and ice forecast tonight for the Province

Met Office forecasters have warned of wintry showers and snow on higher ground in parts of the Province tonight.

According to the Met Office website, Ulster folk will today experience “a bright day with some sunny spells and a few blustery showers”.

But this evening these showers, will become “more frequent and increasingly wintry on high ground”.

Tonight, they forecast “lighter winds” with a “risk of ice” by morning.

The minimum temperature will be 1°C.
