Stag do group vows to cheer on Northern Ireland at Euro 2016 to the end

Stag do revellers marking Northern Ireland's Euros entry have vowed to cheer on their heroes to the end.

Stuart Stockman, 27, from North Belfast, marries Kirsty Crawford in September.

The mates were in the Paris fan zone beside the Eiffel Tower watching the opening match of the tournament on Friday before their team’s opening fixture against Poland in Nice on Sunday.

They swamped Ma Nolan’s Irish pub in the old part of what was once market town Nice in green and white colour.

Best man Chris Rodgers said: “Stuart always said if Northern Ireland qualified this is where he wanted to go. It was always going to happen.”

They return home after the game against Poland but fly back to Paris for the final group fixture against Germany. After that, who knows.

Mr Rodgers added: “We will be back for the final.”

Ma Nolan’s has been operating for more than a decade.

The design and decor give the bar a traditional feel with wooden flooring and high bar counters.

A few Polish and Northern Irish fans socialised together good-naturedly.

But with the green and white crowd spilled onto the street outside there was no doubt who has colonised it this weekend.
