In floral art heats, competitors put together a display to depict the themes, past time and hobbies. They showed their creativity and flair as they delicately placed flowers and foliage to create stunning arrangements. The Coleraine members who won through to the Young Farmers’ Club of Ulster finals at the Balmoral Show in May 2016 were: 12 – 14 Cara Millar, 14 – 16 Sarah Cunningham, 18 – 21 Ruth Adams, 21 – 25 Joanne Smyth. Good luck girls.

In the finals of the public speaking competition a total of 102 speeches were delivered to the judges, who had a very difficult job deciding the winners in each class. Coleraine members had their speeches prepared with two members gaining places in the prepared classes: 12 – 14 3rd Chloe Millar and 14 – 16 1st Maxine Smyth. Well done girls - all your hard work paid off.
