Time for us to deliver, say Foster and McGuinness
Mrs Foster and Mr McGuinness were formally reappointed to their posts during yesterday’s sitting, though the drama of the UUP’s decision to enter Opposition overshadowed the development.
Echoing the words of Peter Robinson five years ago, they said in a statement that this mandate “must be measured on delivery and progress”.

Hide AdMrs Foster said that she had been given a strong mandate by the electorate and said that she felt “a deep personal sense of responsibility to everyone who lives in this vibrant, beautiful part of the world”.
Mr McGuinness said: “We have confounded the sceptics and negative voices as we continue our journey forward. The Fresh Start Agreement does give us the space to do things better.”
