Unlike the driver last night outside Lisburn, who continued on, sparking a pursuit.

“Due to how dangerous the driver was driving, the pursuit was called off for the safety of other road users, after he overtook vehicles at speed on the wrong side of the road, and drove into a barrier, damaging the side of the car.

“However, we managed to surprise the suspected driver who was walking back into his house not long after.

“He’s been arrested for numerous offences, including drink-driving, after blowing double the drink-drive limit.

“The male will be interviewed this morning”.
