Police are currently at the scene after the report of a suspicious object in a busy Belfast city centre street.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police are currently in attendance following a report of a suspicious object located at the Adelaide Street area of Belfast.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative main routes for their journey.
“There are no further details at this stage.”
