The remains of the 35-year-old were discovered in his flat at Ardoyne Place in the early hours of March 15, 2014. The two accused have both denied his murder.

The trial is due to last between three and four weeks. Mr Justice Deeny then told the jury that the trial was due to commence on Tuesday morning.
