Two men charged after violent west Belfast confrontation

Two men are expected to appear in court today after being charged following a violent confrontation in west Belfast on Monday evening.

The men - aged 38-years and 42-years - have been charged after three men were taken to hospital following the incident on the Andersonstown Road.

Hurling sticks and hammers were reportedly used as weapons.

The two men are accused of a number of offences, including grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
