The suspect subsequently ran off with a sum of money in the Oldpark Road direction.

The PSNI said that the suspect is described as being aged in his late twenties, approximately 5’ 5” tall and is described as being of a ‘broad build’.

He’s reported to have worn a grey ‘bobble hat’ and a burgundy zip-up jacket.

Detective Constable Steph Beattie said: “Thankfully, the staff member wasn’t physically injured, however, as you can imagine, this will have been a terrifying ordeal.
