The TV channel, which was recently taken over by ITV, will be switched off from 9.30am to 10.30am on Saturday August 27 to promote the “I am Team GB” event, organised by the National Lottery and ITV in conjunction with the British Olympics Association and UK Sport.

As part of the event, sports clubs across the country will open their doors to inspire people to get out and become involved in a wide range of sports, free of charge.
