Video - Coleraine tunnel built in '˜last 500 years'
A representative from Coleraine Historical Society believes the tunnel found by workmen digging in the town centre yesterday dates from the last 500 years.
In this video interview for the News Letter, Jennifer Cunningham speculated that the red brick in the tunnel suggested the tunnel was “reasonably modern”.
Workmen doing street repairs in Kingsgate Street discovered the tunnel on Wednesday.
