Woman charged with attempted murder after Moira stabbing

A 36-year-old woman is expected to appear in Craigavon Magistrates court tomorrow morning charged with attempted murder in connection with the stabbing of a 54-year-old man in the early hours of Monday.

The stabbing took place in the Manor Court area of the Co Down town.

A PSNI spokesman said as is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.

A 21-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident was released on bail pending further inquiries on Monday evening.
