A postal worker and healthcare star are among the UK’s ‘Everyday Heroes’ being celebrated by yogurt drink maker Actimel for their hard work this year

Now, more than ever, society has seen the importance of celebrating and rewarding unsung heroes from our communities.

Hide AdActimel has responded to this by urging the public to nominate their community champions through its #EverydayHeroes campaign.
Everyday Heroes Campaign
As part of the #EverydayHeroes campaign, the brand has also created an ‘Actimel Hero Tracker’ to map nominations across the UK and Ireland.
They are calling on people to make their hero part of the movement by visiting the map before the end of June.

The Nominations
Together with Actimel’s Winter Everyday Hero campaign, there have already been more than 6,400 nominations from around the country, including nurses, carers, postal workers and those demonstrating true resilience and kindness.
Clifford, a postal worker from Middlesex, was nominated by his daughter Phoebe.

“He’s friendly, reliable, amazing and I love him.”
Cheryl, a “kind, caring and hardworking” healthcare worker from the North East of England, was also nominated.
Her nominee said: “Cheryl keeps their spirits high when their families can’t visit them, risking her own health, but doing what she loves best. She’s an inspiration and I’m so proud of her.”
