Here’s how the scheme works.
What is the new delivery service?
The ongoing UK lockdown has seen a drastic shortage in both click and collect and delivery slots across all major UK supermarkets.
However, this new service promises to deliver groceries from Morrisons to your door within 30 minutes.

It is available from 130 Morrisons branches in the UK. If you are living near enough to one of the participating Morrisons, you will be able to get groceries from the store delivered, through either the Deliveroo app or website.
How do I place an order?
In order to get a delivery, you need to simply type your postcode into the Deliveroo app or website, then select the grocery option towards the top of the screen. After that, you will be able to see what’s available in your area.

If you don’t already have a Deliveroo Plus account - which costs £11.49 a month and includes free delivery - then the delivery cost will be an extra £4.99.
How will I get my delivery?
The deliveries will be left at your front door, so contact with the driver is minimised.
Ajay Lakhwani, Deliveroo’s VP of new business, said, “With families and vulnerable people in isolation, it is more important than ever that we make sure they have access to the essential household items they need.

Has Deliveroo partnered with any other supermarkets?
Deliveroo has also partnered with Marks & Spencer. This, like the new Morrisons delivery service, has allowed customers to get essential items like bread, milk and fresh vegetables delivered to their house.
