Here is a list of products that are being recalled by supermarkets and restaurants in the UK right now, and what to do if you have purchased any of the affected items.

Sainsbury’s Caramelised Onion Shroomdogs

Sainsbury’s is recalling Plant Pioneers 6 Caramelised Onion Shroomdogs as some packs contain pieces of metal.

The affected product has a pack size of 300g and a use by date on 6 January 2021 and 7 January 2021.

Customers who have purchased the product are advised not to eat it and instead return it to their nearest store for a full refund. Those who are shielding, or are otherwise unable to return the product, can visit Sainsburys.co.uk/help or contact the customer careline on 0800 636262.

ASK Italian Christmas crackers

ASK Italian is recalling its Christmas crackers as the product was packed with the incorrect chocolates.

The chocolates contain peanuts, soya, barley (gluten), eggs, wheat (gluten), and may contain almonds (nuts) and oats (gluten) not mentioned on the label. As such it poses a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy to almonds (nuts), peanuts and/or soya, and/or an allergy or intolerance to barley (gluten), eggs, oats (gluten) and wheat (gluten).

The affected product has a best before date of end of September 2021.

Buchanan Distribution Nudie Snacks Salted Caramel Brownie Protein Balls

Buchanan Distribution Ltd is recalling Nudie Snacks Salted Caramel Brownie Protein Balls as they contain milk that is not listed on the label, posing a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

The affected pack size is 42g, with batch code SCL02 and a best before date of January 2021.

Customers who have purchased the product should return it to their nearest store for a full refund.

Yekta Foods Achachi Jelly Cups

Yekta Foods is recalling its Achachi Jelly Cups as they contain carrageenan, which is not permitted as an ingredient in jelly confectionery as it presents a choking hazard.

The recall extends to all batch codes in pack sizes of 240 x 12g (box) and 12g single jelly cups.

If you have purchased one of the jelly cups you should not eat it and instead return it to the store where it was bought.

Tesco Finest Festive Belgian Dark Chocolate Brazil Nuts

Tesco is recalling a batch of Tesco Finest Festive Belgian Dark Chocolate Brazil Nuts due to undeclared sulphur dioxide.

The product has been incorrectly packed with Tesco Finest Festive Fruit and Nut Selection, which contains sulphur dioxide that is not mentioned on the label.

The affected product has a pack size of 225g, with batch code L0075004 and best before date of end of May 2021.
