Amazon has reduced the price of Piriteze hay fever tablets to £5.79 in the spring sale as tree pollen begins circulating across the UK
The middle of March might seem like the wrong time to stock up on hay fever tablets, but if you're a sufferer, you'll know that pollen season can start early.
In fact, at this time of year we're in a transition between winter tree pollen and the first pollen wave of the spring.
And that's why we were pleased to see Amazon putting a hefty discount on a pack of Piriteze - one of the biggest brands in allergy relief - in the ongoing spring sale.
Thanks to a 57% discount, you can get a packet of 30 tablets for just £5.79. They usually cost £13.42. And the deal is on until March 16, so plenty of time to stock up.
Right now Alder is the tree giving off the most pollen, with hazel still lingering, Elm starting to become common, and willow starting to release pollen too.
These pollens can already cause classic symptoms like itchy eyes, sneezing and congestion for sensitive people and, because these are tree pollens, they can travel a long way on dry windy days, which is why you might suddenly notice symptoms even if the trees aren’t nearby.

Also, a bigger spring wave is about to start, with birch, ash, poplar, and oak all starting their pollen season soon.
Thankfully the worst triggers most people suffer from; grass and weed pollen are still at least a few months away, but some people may experience symptoms early.
