Longer evenings are putting gardens back in focus and Amazon has cut these solar-powered festoon lights by 35%, bringing the outdoor lighting set down to less than £13
Longer evenings are back, warmer weather is edging closer and many people are starting to think about giving their gardens a refresh before summer properly arrives. One Amazon deal could help do that without spending much, after a set of solar-powered festoon lights dropped by more than a third.
The Light-Brightly Solar String Festoon Lights have been cut from £19.99 to £12.99, knocking 35% off the usual price for a limited time.
For less than £13, shoppers get 15 metres of lighting with 20 warm yellow LED bulbs designed for patios, pergolas, gazebos and garden seating areas. The style has become increasingly popular because it creates a softer look than harsher outdoor lights and can quickly make outdoor spaces feel more inviting once evenings start getting longer.
The discounted solar garden lights deal on Amazon avoids one of the biggest annoyances of outdoor lighting too. There is no need to run extension leads across the garden or find a nearby plug socket because the lights are solar-powered.
There is also a back-up option if the weather decides not to play along. The system includes USB-C charging alongside the solar panel, which could prove useful during cloudier spells.
Another feature likely to catch attention is the included remote control. The festoon lighting set offers four different lighting settings including steady light, breathing mode, fast strobe and slow strobe, making it suitable whether the aim is relaxed evening lighting or something brighter for gatherings.
Installation also appears straightforward. The solar panel can either be pushed into the ground or mounted on a wall, while each bulb includes hanging hooks designed for attaching to pergolas, fences and gazebos.
Durability has also been built into the design. The solar panel has an IP65 waterproof rating while the bulbs themselves are IP44-rated for outdoor use, meaning they are designed to cope with changing weather conditions.
As gardens begin becoming the go-to place for evening drinks, BBQs and spending more time outdoors over the coming weeks, smaller upgrades like lighting often end up making a bigger difference than expected.
The Light-Brightly solar festoon lights on Amazon are currently available for £12.99 while the limited-time discount remains live.
