Belfast's Anthony Cacace set for Dublin title showdown against James Dickens
Belfast's Anthony Cacace is set for a WBA super-featherweight title showdown against champion James Dickens in Dublin on March 14.
In what will mark Dickens’ first defence since being upgraded to full champion last month after Lamont Roach was stripped, the pair will clash at the 3Arena.

Dickens had been due to fight Hayato Tsutsumi in Saudi Arabia on December 27 but was forced to withdraw through injury and will now meet Cacace, who is a former IBF champion.
Cacace relinquished his belt in order to face Leigh Wood in May – a fight the 36-year-old won by ninth-round stoppage – and March’s bout will mark his return to action.
He had been due to face Raymond Ford in August before suffering a back injury and is aiming to become a two-time champion having picked up his previous title by beating Joe Cordina in 2024.
Cacace has won 24 of his 25 professional bouts, including nine by knockout, and been victorious in each of his last 10 – other notable wins include a unanimous decision triumph over Josh Warrington at Wembley in September 2024.
Elsewhere on the bill, Pierce O’Leary will take on Mark Chamberlain as the pair meet in a super-lightweight clash.
"Dublin has a rich boxing history, and there is no better time than St. Patrick’s Day weekend to bring world championship boxing back," said Queensberry Promotions boss Frank Warren. "Dickens- Cacace is a phenomenal match-up between two of the best in the division and Pierce O’Leary gets the big homecoming he deserves."
