A tense wait ensued before it broke the news was about the much anticipated Conor McGregor Floyd Mayweather clash.

The £500m cross-over fight will be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK. The broadcaster saw off competition from BT to screen the bout on August 26 from Las Vegas.

Fans had expected the cost of watching the fight live on television to be as much as £100, but the broadcaster confirmed it will be priced at £19.95.
