Hughes takes on Belfast’s James Fryers in an eliminator for the belt and he says he will deliver at the Europa Hotel.

“It’s going to get me a step closer to the British title. I want to go to Belfast, get the win, do what I need to do, then come back and get on some TV shows.

“I had a quick look at him on Boxrec and a quick look for any footage – but there’s not much footage of him.

“I like to get in there on fight night and I like to think that I can adapt and that I concentrate on what I do best.

“I’d never heard of him until I got the call, and that’s not me being disrespectful, it’s just I don’t follow the Irish scene,” said Hughes - who is bringing a plane load of support with him.

The card also features James Tennyson, Paul Hyland Jr, Joe Fitzpatrick, Tyrone McCullagh, and Feargal McCrory.
