Paul Hyland jnr ready for Felix Lora test at Europa

Paul Hyland Jnr will face the toughest test of his fledgling professional career when he takes to the ring at the Europa Hotel in Belfast on October 8.

The undefeated lightweight will face the very experienced Felix Lora from the Dominican Republic.

Lora who is now based in Barcelona has a very impressive CV and arrives in Belfast a former WBO European, WBA Inter-Continental, WBC Silver International, WBC Baltic Champion at no fewer than three weights.

The 32 year old has had a points defeats at the hands of three World champions in Devon Alexander, Viktor Posol & Dejan Zlaticanin, other names include current European lightweight champion Edis Tatli, Kevin Mitchell and Yvan Mendy.

“Lora is a big step up for Paul he has only failed to hear the final bell once in 43 fights and is a true test for the already strongly matched Belfast fighter

“ I mentioned three names to ‘Hylo’ and would be lying if I did not think he would have chosen Lora who was by far the strongest,” added manager Mark Dunlop.
