Bushmills Spring Festival this Saturday

BUSHMILLS & District Community Association and The Giant’s Causeway Community Association are hosting a celebration of ‘Spring’ in Dunluce Parish Centre, Bushmills this Saturday, 16th March from 11am till 4pm.

This will be a Fun Day for all the family celebrating local culture and tradition. There will be musical performances throughout the festival with artists such as Michael Kennedy and up and coming artist Amanda St John. Dance displays from The Lir School of Irish Dancing and The Blue Belles, Ballymoney.

Dunseverick Primary School violinists will bring the Spring Festival to a close from 3pm – 4pm. The fantastic storyteller Liz Weir will also be in residence from 11am till 12pm to entertain children/adults with her witty tales. There will be Hip Hop workshops for the children at 12pm and a Zumba workshop at 12.30 for Adults.

A Basket Weaving Display by well known basket weaver Louise McLean plus variety of stalls on the day along with a display of vintage vehicles and much, much more. Admission £1, children under 12 free. This event is being held in conjunction with and supported by the Community Festivals Fund from Moyle District Council.
