“This makes the event significantly larger than last year and we are confident that it will be even better. Last year the atmosphere on the night was fantastic and of course the friendly rivalry ads another dimension.

“Not only does this provide entrants with the opportunity to build relationships with other local businesses but also allow them to raise money for charity. With this year being an Olympic year we thought it was fitting to select the Mary Peters Trust this time.”

The race, which is organised by Athletics Northern Ireland, is open to all businesses and organisations in Northern Ireland who intend to enter a team of four in the male, female and mixed categories.

Prizes will be awarded in each category with the combined finishing times determining the winning teams.

“Encouraged by last year’s victory we have entered three teams and the Danske athletes are looking forward to competing against colleagues and other companies.”
