This year, for the first time ever at the Irish Open, one of Dublin’s finest food and drink emporiums 37 Dawson Street will be transporting itself to a prime location at one of the Palmer Course’s most iconic holes.

37 Dawson Street is one of Dublin’s most popular bars and the team behind its success will be running the public bar area by the 16th green which golf fans will remember as the hole which sparked some amazing celebrations from Darren Clarke after he won his Singles match at the Ryder Cup in 2006.

As well as supping an ice cold beer at one of the best viewing holes on the course, spectators at the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open will also have a chance to sample a new signature cocktail that has been especially created by the Dawson Street team for this year’s event.

The Dawson Street public bar will be just one of many highlights on offer to spectators during the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open, aside from the golf itself of course!

A huge public village area will feature the Dubai Duty Free ‘Beat the Pro Challenge’ as well as interactive golf zones in partnership with the Bank of Ireland and Confederation of Golf in Ireland (CGI) where children can pick up tips from a PGA Pro and participate in fun golf challenges, face painting and much more.

In addition, American Golf has teamed up with Nike to offer visitors to the Irish Open a fantastic inside the ropes golf experience. Visitors to the American Golf site will be able to get their hands on the popular Nike Vapour Fly golf club range and find out for themselves why it has been such a hit with Tour players and amateurs alike.
