F2 Stock Car Championship Weekend in Province

The biggest Stock Car racing weekend of the season which takes place over the weekend of June 10/11/12 at Ballymena Raceway and Nutts Corner Raceway.

The centre piece is provided by the F2 Stock Cars, which race for the Irish Open and British Championships.

F2 Stock Car racing is the largest single-seater motorsport in Europe, with over 500 drivers and 25 tracks across the UK and mainland Europe.

The racing is spectacular, with 20 to 30 cars on a quarter mile track at the one time, and the top drivers are masters of their craft as they move the opposition out of the way in this contact style racing.

It is the first time the British Championship has been staged in Northern Ireland for over 20 years and one of the biggest grids ever assembled in the province will compete in this prestigious event.

A big entry of visiting drivers from Scotland and England are coming across along with one long distance traveler from Holland!

Visiting drivers are also traveling over for the support classes which include Heritage F2 Stock Cars and Micro F2 Stock Cars (for 7 to 11 year olds).
