Dean Shiels delighted to keep 'really good footballer' Connor Murray at the Coleraine Showgrounds as loan extension is agreed

The Scottish midfielder, who initially joined on loan until January from Hamilton Academical, will now spend the entirety of the 2024/25 campaign on the Ballycastle Road.
Murray has played 21 games since joining Dean Shiels’ side and netted in the 3-1 success against Carrick Rangers back in September.

Hide AdThe update comes after Coleraine announced the signings of Patrick Burns and Ronan Doherty in the last 24 hours.
Commenting on the news that Murray is staying, Shiels said: "Connor is a really good footballer and that's the best way to describe him," he said.
"He's settled into the group really well and he's got a real hunger to play and help the team.
"He can play in multiple positions, he's versatile and he's got quality, as well as providing goals and assists.

27-year-old Murray has also represented Queen of the South, Gretna 2008 and Partick Thistle during his career.
