Derby rivals united in tribute to Philip Millar

This afternoon's Irish Cup quarter-finals have been put in perspective after the death of Philip Millar, son of Glenavon Assistant Manager Paul.

“The thoughts and prayers of the board of directors, staff, players and all at Mourneview Park are with Paul Millar and the wider family following the death of Paul’s son Philip,” said the club’s website.

There was a minute’s silence before this afternoon’s cup tie between Glenavon and Portadown for Philip. Portadown fans Roy Topley and Errol Whitten were also remembered.
