Crusaders defender Rodney Brown has urged his team-mates to get the job done when they take on Latvian opponents FK Liepaja in the second leg of the Europa League.

Stephen Baxter’s men travel to Latvia with a 3-1 lead, but will be wary after Arturs Karasausks rifled home an away goal at Seaview.

Crusaders took advantage of slack defending as goals from Philip Lowry, Michael Carvill and Jordan Owens earned a two-goal cushion ahead of tonight’s clash.

“I/m looking forward to it after we secured a good result last week,” Brown said.

“We looked solid, but fell asleep from the corner and they took advantage with a wonder strike.

“If you said that we would win 3-1 before the game, I would have taken it, as they are a professional outfit and are midway through their season.

“We are now fully concentrated on getting the job done in Latvia. I really enjoyed my first match playing in Europe and it was an experience I will never forget.”
