McNickle joined the Sky Blues in May last year and amassed eight appearances – netting twice in the process.

He would spend the second half of last season on loan at Limavady United and helped the Roesiders achieve promotion to the top-flight, as well as netting a famous winner as Paul Owens’ men ousted Linfield in the Irish Cup.

However, the former Newry City ace will now be tasked to provide goals for Ciaran McGurgan’s next term as they will be amongst the favourites to earn promotion to the Premiership.

Annagh were beaten in a promotion/relegation play-off by Crusaders just last month as their Premiership dreams were put on hold for another 12 months.
