Th final standings at the bottom of the table will hinge on the results from all three Section B games.

Warrenpoint currently sit second bottom in the table, but could wrestle themselves clear of danger with victory over Dungannon Swifts.

Defeat, however, could see the Milltown men demoted to bottom spot in the standings – and automatic relegation.

Carrick Rangers, Ballinamallard United and Portadown could also be sucked into the relegation mire – making Saturday’s final round of games a tense and intriguing spectacle.

“It must be great for the neutrals, but for the people involved it is going to be a very nervous day,” Gray said.

“All the teams at the bottom end of the table have something to play for. Dungannon want to finish seventh while Ballymena want to qualify for the European play-offs. And then you have the other four who want to stay out of the bottom two positions.

“All we can do is look after ourselves, and then hopefully get the right results elsewhere.

“If we win then we won’t finish bottom, so that is the ultimate aim. Ideally, we get out of the bottom two completely and then we can relax completely.

“We will wait and see.”
