IRISH LEAGUE: Carrick game with Dungannon called off due to waterlogged pitch

Tuesday night's Danske Bank Premiership fixture between Carrick Rangers and Dungannon Swifts has been postponed.

A waterlogged pitch at Carrick’s Belfast Loughshore Hotel Aren home forced the postponement following an inspection at lunch time.

It is the eighth time Carrick have had a home match called off this season – no new date has been set.

Gary Haveron’s side have played just one match at home since October 31.

Meanwhile, tt was decided at Monday night’s Premiership Management Committee meeting that all the Danske Bank Premiership games on Tuesday, March 29 will kick off at 7.45pm.

The Week 33 fixtures are the last before the Premiership is split into a top and bottom six.
