John Butcher: Award winner says Limavady United want to 'finish the job' by earning Championship promotion

Butcher enjoyed a prolific month in front of goal, scoring five times in the Championship to play a key role in Limavady’s title challenge. The highlight of his month was his hat-trick in a 4-1 win over Newington.

A delighted Butcher said: “I’m delighted to win this as there aren’t many individual awards in football, it is a team effort, so I’d like to thank my teammates.

“After a difficult spell, we hit a good run of form at just the right time. We’re three points clear with three games to play, so it is up to us to go out there and finish the job.”
