Linfield duo Kyle McClean and Dane McCullough pen new deals with David Healy's champions
Linfield duo Kyle McClean and Dane McCullough have signed new two-year deals with the club.
Defender McCullough’s contract extension will ensure he stays at Windsor Park until the end of the 2027/28 season, with midfielder McClean also committing to David Healy’s side after putting pen to paper on a new 24-month contract.
McClean was the Ulster Footballer of the Year in 2024 and arrived at Linfield on loan in January 2019 before signing a full-time deal in November of the same year.
A key member of the squad, McClean played a big role in Linfield’s title triumph.

Healy’s admiration for McClean is clear, with the Linfield boss describing him as “one of the top midfielders in the country”.
“We’re delighted to have Kyle’s new deal officially confirmed,” said Healy. “His quality is well known throughout the league, and he has rightly earned a reputation as one of the top midfielders in the country.
“Having him commit his future to the club is a massive boost and a clear sign of his belief in what we are striving to build.
“Kyle will continue to play a key role within the squad. He is a complete professional and a pleasure to work with both on and off the pitch.

“A special thank you once again to our Head of Recruitment, Willie McKeown, for his hard work in getting this deal over the line.”
McCullough, meanwhile, has made 13 appearances so far this season and joined the Blues in 2023 following spells with Portadown FC and Burnley.
The 21-year-old has made 31 appearances for Linfield and manager Healy said he was “delighted” that his efforts had been rewarded with a new deal.
“He arrived at the club as a young lad returning from academy football in England, and since then he has gone from strength to strength,” said Healy.
“His game continues to improve, and his attitude, both in training and around the club, is second to none.
“We’re very pleased to have him with us for the next two seasons and I’m looking forward to continuing our work together.”
