The coronavirus pandemic has impacted all areas of football, whether it is the Irish Premiership or Europe’s elite. Everything has been affected, gate receipts, training, season schedules, big tournaments and finances.
According to data gathered by LearnBonds, suspension of matches due to coronavirus pandemic is expected to produce a costly financial hit to European football leagues, with combined losses reaching up to €4.1bn.
