Bangor boss Lee Feeney dedicates Manager of the Month award for October to his staff

Bangor boss Lee Feeney is the NIFWA Manager of the Month for October.

In the month, the Sport Direct Premiership's new boys defeated Coleraine, Glenavon and Crusaders in the league, as well as drawing at Inver Park and knocking Lisburn Distillery out of the BetMcLean Cup.

It's Lee's first monthly prize, following in his cousin Warren's footsteps.

A delighted Feeney said: "It's an honour to win this trophy, although in my opinion this award should be called Management Team of the Month, as I would not be here if it wasn't for our staff.

"The players have also been superb. October's success was a real team effort, although as I keep telling everyone, we are not safe yet. Our goal this year was to avoid relegation, and that hasn't changed."
