David Healy backs Linfield to take ‘unbelievable opportunity’
David Healy has backed his Linfield players to bounce back from their Bodo/Glimt disappointment when they take on FC Zurich in the first leg of their third-round Europa League qualifier at Windsor Park tonight.
After defeating the Norwegian champions 1-0 in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier the Blues were brought crashing down to earth with an 8-0 defeat at the Aspmyra Stadion.
The Euorpean adventure continues for Linfield though with a mouth-watering play-off clash with Hearts the carrot if they see off Zurich.
“It was disappointing last week but we now have an opportunity to bounce back against FC Zurich,” he told the club website.

“We understand that when you get to the stage we are at there is always going to be a challenge no matter who you play.
“As I said last week we have a hell of a group of players and they will be back better for the experience against Bodo.
“Everything probably went right for us in the first leg and a lot of things went wrong for us in the second.
“But I have taken the positives out of both legs and will remain positive as we look forward to another huge game for the club.
“The players still believe we have an unbelievable opportunity firstly against Zurich and then on to whatever comes after that.
“The players have been huge for me over the last few years and they will remain that way.”
