Five exit Larne as Tiernan Lynch pays tribute after ‘difficult’ scenario
Larne boss Tiernan Lynch offered tributes following “one of the more difficult aspects of my job” with news of five players departing the Premiership club.
“I’ve said it before, but it’s one of the more difficult aspects of my job when players move on,” said Lynch on the official club website. “I want to thank all five for the contribution they’ve made during their time at the club, whether that has been over the last few months or last few years.
“This has been a memorable season for the club on a number of fronts and they have all played a part in that.
“I’ve no doubt they will go on and do well wherever they end up next.”
Conor Mitchell, Ben Tilney, Luke Wade Slater, Dylan Mottley Henry and Johnny McMurray will officially become free agents at the expiration of current contracts this summer.
