Irish League fixture postponed 'due to the impact of Storm Bram'
Tuesday’s scheduled Premiership clash between rivals Crusaders and Cliftonville at Seaview has been postponed “following agreement by both clubs” due to the impact of Storm Bram.
Storm Bram has hit Northern Ireland with an amber weather warning for wind in place across large portions of the country – leading to disruption.
The Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL) has confirmed that Tuesday’s north Belfast derby will now be rearranged with both the Crues and Cliftonville in agreement.
An amber weather warning has been put in place in Co Antrim from 2pm until 7pm – the scheduled kick-off time was 7:45pm with a yellow wind warning remaining until 10pm.

It was due to be a first Premiership meeting of the season between the two teams with their Co Antrim Shield showdown in September ending in a 2-0 victory for the Reds.
NIFL posted on social media: “MATCH UPDATE. The @CrusadersFC vs @Cliftonville match has been postponed due to the impact of Storm Bram, following agreement by both clubs.”
Both clubs were involved in Tuesday’s Irish Cup fifth round draw with last season’s beaten finalists Cliftonville handed a home tie against Championship outfit Dundela while Crusaders have been given the tough assignment of travelling to Coleraine.
