IRISH LEAGUE TRANSFER ROUND-UP: Limavady add 'huge asset' and Annagh snap up 33-goal striker
Limavady United’s Premiership preparations have continued with the addition of another experienced top-flight player off Stephen O’Donnell’s capture.
The 33-year-old centre-back has been celebrated by Limavady boss Paul Owens as “a huge asset for our young squad as we begin life in the Premiership”.
The Championship champions’ statement over official social media platforms read as follows: “Limavady United are delighted to confirm the signing of Stephen O’Donnell on the expiry of his contract from Ballymena United.
"We are delighted to welcome Stevie to the club.

"He is one of the most experienced defenders in the league.
"Having worked with Stevie before, I know exactly the qualities he can bring to the team.
"His leadership will be a huge asset for our young squad as we begin life in the Premiership.”
Limavady this week also added 29-year-old Aaron Jarvis – like O’Donnell, another former Ballymena player – for additional experience.
In the Championship, Annagh United have moved to bolster the club’s goal-scoring options by signing Henry Cromack.
The 22-year-old striker scored 33 goals across last season’s campaign for Premier Intermediate League-based Dollingstown.
Annagh missed out on promotion to the Premiership last season with defeat over two legs in the play-off tie against top-flight Crusaders.
It marked a fourth promotion setback under Annagh boss Ciaran McGurgan.
