Lincoln Red Imps rewarded with dream Conference League trip to French giants after Larne victory
Lincoln Red Imps have been rewarded with a dream trip to French giants AS Monaco after a stunning Conference League play-off comeback win against Larne on Thursday evening.
Reigning Premiership champions Larne were on course to book their spot in the League Phase – and bank £2.7million in prize money – but were undone by a shock five-minute spell at the end of normal time.
The Red Imps scored twice late on to cancel out Larne’s two-goal advantage from the first leg before Manu Toledano’s penalty sealed their fate in added time of extra-time.
Their League Phase fixtures have now been confirmed with away trips to Monaco, Norwegian outfit Brann and Egnatia of Albania.

The Red Imps will host Midtjylland (Denmark), Twente (Netherlands) and Hajduk Split (Croatia).
Due to their UEFA club coefficient rating, the Red Imps were placed in Pot Three of Friday’s draw while Larne would have been seeded to take a spot in Pot Five, so it’s not an exact science on who Gary Haveron’s side could have drawn.
Another team of interest for Irish League fans is FC Iberia 1999 of Georgia with their results crucial to the Premiership’s hopes of holding on to a fourth European position.
If Iberia, who defeated Larne in Europa League third round qualifying, were to lose all six of their League Phase matches, Northern Ireland would remain inside UEFA’s top-50 and maintain four spots for the 2028/29 season.
They have been drawn against FC Copenhagen, Red Star Belgrade, Getafe, Sint-Truiden, Jablonec and Mjällby AIF.
