Linfield add new defender to their ranks

Linfield have announced the signing of defender Michael Newberry until the end of next season.

The 23-year-old, who came up through the ranks at Newcastle United, played last season in the top division of the Icelandic League with Vikingur Olafsvik.

Boss David Healy is delighted to have brought the defender to Windsor Park.
