Mick McDermott reveals Conor Pepper has agreed terms with another club

Mick McDermott has all but confirmed Conor Pepper has played his last game for Glentoran.

Linfield are rumoured to be interested in the 26-year-old, who wasn’t included in the Glens semi-final squad.

Speaking after the game McDermott stated the player has agreed terms with another club.

“The reality is Conor Pepper has been injured the last three weeks and he’s agreed terms with another club,” he said.

“So there is no point having someone here who is injured and is going to another club.

“But Conor is a great lad, I’ve nothing but respect for him. I like him a lot.

"He’s been a good servant for this club but we couldn’t work out a deal to keep him at the club.”
