Gorman is the son of former Linfield and Coleraine midfielder Tony Gorman.

The Northern Ireland under-21 international began his career at home club Letterkenny Rovers before signing a scholarship with Stevenage in 2013.

He began playing for the Stevenage first team throughout the 2015-16 season and spent three seasons in the senior team.

Before the 2018-19 season, he joined Leyton Orient and helped the club gain promotion to the Football League.

Gorman has played for Northern Ireland at U17, U19 and U21 level.
