Who made the final list?
5. 6: Cristiano Ronaldo
Well, your either a Messi or Ronaldo man...and Ronaldo just pips him for me - the best we have ever seen! | Getty
6. 5: Barry Ferguson
This man knew what it was all about - a great player who used to run the show. An absolute winner. | Getty
7. 4: Ian Harte
A great full-back for Leeds who hit a great free-kick. I got to watch him live when he was at Carlisle United, he stood out like a sore thumb thanks to his quality! | Getty
8. 3: Johnny Montgomery
Being a Swifts fan and a centre-half, I used to love going to games and watching this man play - hard as nails and better on the ball than he got credit for across his career. | freelance
