Carrick Rangers came from 2-0 down to snatch a draw against Glentoran at The Oval, Cliftonville continued their superb unbeaten run by defeating Coleraine 4-1 and Ben Kennedy’s brace ensured Crusaders picked up their first league point of 2024 versus Dungannon Swifts at Stangmore Park.
Elsewhere, honours were even in the league’s bottom of the table clash between Newry City and Ballymena United.
Here are the best performers from the weekend’s action – according to Sofascore – with eight different clubs represented!

Despite being on the end of a 4-1 defeat to Cliftonville at Solitude, Coleraine's Conor McKendry still makes it into the team. He made two key passes, had three shots on target and was successful with 13 of 17 dribbles, giving him a match rating of 8.3. Photo: INPHO/Declan Roughan

6. Midfielder: Chris Gallagher (Larne, Match Rating: 7.8)

7. Midfielder: Ronan Doherty (Cliftonville, Match Rating: 7.8)
Ronan Doherty has been one of Cliftonville's most consistent performers throughout a wonderful season - Sofascore rank him as the seventh best across the whole league in 2023/24 - and shone once again on Saturday. Doherty made seven interceptions, 44 passes and had 73 touches of the ball in a 7.8 showing. Photo: INPHO/Brian Little

8. Midfielder: Ben Kennedy (Crusaders, Match Rating: 8.1)
Ben Kennedy scored his first Premiership goals since October by bagging a brace in Crusaders' 2-2 draw with Dungannon Swifts. Back as a consistent presence in the team after being transfer listed in January, it's clear the quality Kennedy possesses and he will have a key role to play in the remaining weeks of the season as Stephen Baxter's side chase a spot in Europe once again.
